DIY Activities: doodle art

Procedure:

Doodle art is the most simple yet amazing DIY activity for your kid. Moreover, all you need to do is give them a piece of blank paper or a drawing copy and let them make random patterns using any single-colour sketch pen of their choice. Teach your kid to use the entire paper for drawing random patterns and start colouring each pattern with different colours using sketch pens, crayons, or even pencil colours for that matter.

Don’t forget to boost the morale of your kid and appreciate their doodle art output once it’s complete.

Bead Jewellery DIY for kids

Materials required:

  • Colourful beads of your choice
Bead jewelery

Procedure:

This DIY activity is highly recommended for kids who are yet to get familiar with the colours. Take a black thread and cut it into a length of your choice (depending on what final output you are expecting out of it).

Once you are done cutting the length of the black thread, let your kids start making bead jewellery by simply taking colourful beads of their choice and inserting them into the thread on both ends. When it’s completed, make a knot taking the black thread on both ends and your beautiful handmade bead jewelry is ready.

Ensure you flaunt the DIY handmade bead jewellery and even let your little creator wear it and feel proud of their creativity.

  • Pebbles
spray painting diy for kids

Procedure:

Kids love colouring, especially with watercolours. If your kids love painting too then they will enjoy this DIY activity. All you need to do is take a sticker and place it on white paper or a drawing copy. Make sure you put some pebbles on the sticker to restrict it from moving here and there.

Once the setup is ready, let your kids use an old toothbrush and dip it in the colours of their choice to make a spray painting. Teach them how to get the colour splash out of the toothbrush and let them use this technique to randomly spray watercolours on the blank paper and the sticker.

Finally, let it dry for a few hours and then remove the pebbles and the sticker from the blank page and your super cute spray painting is ready. Also, make sure you mention the name of your little artist and the date of painting on its extreme right-hand bottom and preserve this DIY for years to come.
